Again in 2013, the Kia Sportage is available in four trims - Base, LX, EX, SX. The first three trims continue to be powered by a 2.4-liter inline-4-cylinder engine that delivers 176 horsepower and 168 pound-feet of torque, and the SX models continue to offer a more powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that puts out an impressive 260 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The base model is available in a manual transmission, while all other trims are equipped with a six-speed automatic with manual shift feature.
Each trim is also very well-equipped with features and amenities. In fact, the base features everything from 16-inch alloy wheels, air-conditioning, cloth upholstery, and 60/40 split-folding rear seats, to cruise control, full power accessories, a tilt-only steering wheel, and a trip computer. Other features include Bluetooth phone with audio connectivity and a four-speaker sound system with satellite radio, a CD player, an auxiliary audio input jack and an iPod/USB audio interface.
